Report theft of cables at the Pilar Pumping Station

As detailed by the MOOPC, the CTC Consortium – in charge of the construction of Phase A of the Pilar Coastal Defense – reported the theft of 138 meters of large-diameter multifibrillar copper cables.

They were distributed in six dividers, which fed the San José neighborhood pumping station with energy from the ANDE power lines.

The report indicates that it is one of the 13 active pumping stations distributed throughout the city, which work in case of rises in the level of the Ñeembucú stream.

In that sense, he warned that this fact could compromise the safety of the city in the event of a flood of the stream, until the damage caused for its start-up can be repaired.

Lastly, he appealed to the citizen’s conscience and that in the face of any information about those responsible, the following channels be contacted:
