The national deputy and president of the Justice Commission of the lower house, Rodolfo Tailhade, held that the prosecution without preventive detention of Mauricio Macri He confirms that his government established “a mafia state” and considered that the case investigating illegal espionage of relatives of the ARA San Juan crew members “is only one part of the enormous device set up” by the macrista management to carry out these maneuvers.
Tailhade, in statements to Radio 10, assured that “there is still a long way to go” and maintained that “the cause to the relatives of Ara San Juan is only a part of the enormous device set up by the Macri government“.
The former president was processed on Wednesday without preventive detention and an embargo of 100 million pesos was blocked on his assets, as part of a resolution issued by the surrogate federal judge of Dolores Martín Bava, who considered Macri as the “author” of illegal espionage against the relatives of the sailors of the submarine sunk in November 2017.
Asked about the case, Tailhade highlighted that, “from minute one, the national government began to investigate as well as the bicameral commission” for the Inspection of Intelligence Organizations and Activities to unveil it described it as “a huge espionage device illegal “mounted by macrismo.
In this sense, the deputy of the Frente de Todos (FdT), who is part of that Bicameral commission, recalled that that body prepared a 400-page document under the title “The Mafia State” and said that this work “was ratified” in the instruction of the case that Bava follows.
“I believe that Macri had a few decades of resorting to these industrial, police espionage practices while he was in private activity. He did it because he felt absolutely unpunished. It never had consequences in the private sphere and that led him to do it in the state sphere, “said the legislator.
According to the national deputy for Neuquén, “Macri was aware of everything that (Gustavo) Arribas was carrying out, a former AFI head, who was dedicated to business, squeezing businessmen and monitoring types with money.”
“In the intelligence bicameral we are dedicated to deepening political espionage but there is a part that we could not reach and that has to do with private espionage, with business,” Tailhade said.
