In the press conference given this Tuesday, the coach expressed the joy of taking charge of his team from the heart: “It is different for you to work at the club where you grew up cheering, going to Maracanã [para acompanhar]. I’m holding back here, but I’m very happy. It’s the biggest challenge of my career, a childhood dream. To be doing this interview right now is a dream. Vasco is not an invitation, it is a summons”.
Maurício Souza takes over Vasco with the company of his assistant, the Portuguese João Eduardo.
The team from São Januário returns to the field, for Série B of the Brazilian Championship, against Londrina, next Saturday (18) from 16:00 (Brasília time), at Estádio do Café, in Londrina (PR).
