Loud noises alerted Macul’s neighbors last night. They were fireworks launched by unknown persons at the headquarters of the Christian Democrats. The incident occurred in the middle of the celebration of the birthday of the caretaker of the enclosure who lives in a house located at the back of the property.
Paola Merino, the caretaker of the place, indicated that after they rang the bell of the place they told her: “We came to leave you a surprise.” That was when the pyrotechnics began to work.

In the place a box with 25 cartridges of fireworks was found that were lit, alerting the residents of the sector. Merino said he did not know the perpetrators of this fact, however, the Prosecutor’s Office was also summoned to testify about what happened in an investigation that is being carried out by the Gope and the IAPA of Carabineros.
