The Cicpc located the body of a septuagenarian who was murdered a year and a half ago.
The information was provided by the director of the Cicpc, General Commissioner Douglas Rico, during the radio program of the scientific police.
The victim is identified as Carlos German Beroes Bittal (70), who was reported missing by his relatives in January 2021.
Beroes lived in the Ciudad Belén Socialist urbanization, Guarenas (Miranda).
The recent arrest of two subjects shed light on the murder. Those captured are: Daniel Alejandro Gallardo Tovar (18), nicknamed El Chino and Kenty Yonaiker Oramas Moya (18).
These people led the Cicpc agents to the site where they buried Beroes’s remains, which were immediately unearthed to hand him over to his relatives.
The homicide was presumably planned and executed by Luis Miguel Moreno Moya (22), who was staying in the Beroes building.
This subject locked Beroes in a closet for three days to cause his death. But since the septuagenarian was still alive, the subject made several wounds with a knife until he died.
Once the murder was committed, Luis contacted Daniel Alejandro and Kenty Yonaiker to bury the body in a wooded area of the Ciudad Belén urban development, Guarenas.
The Cicpc continues the search for the alleged perpetrator of the homicide (Luis) and the other collaborators identified as Daniel Alexander Jiménez Amarista (20) and Carlos Enrique Cova Rengifo (21).
