The expectation of adding workers in the third quarter of the year rises, according to private

Economic activity registered a rise of 4.8% in March

In the Americas, employers in the ten countries surveyed expect increases in their hiring prospects.

The expectation for the incorporation of workers and the creation of employment in the third quarter of the year rose eight percentage points in Argentina with respect to what employers had for the second quarter of 2022, according to a private report.

“The Net Employment Outlook (ENE) for the third quarter of 2022 is +21%, thus demonstrating an increase of eight percentage points compared to the second quarter of 2022,” said the ManpowerGroup company report.

He indicated that “In 10 of the eleven economic activities surveyed, employers expect to increase their payrolls during the third quarter of 2022.”

He specified that the Banks, Finance, Insurance & Real Estate segment leads the most solid intentions of the sample, with a net employment expectation of 32%.

In second place was the group of companies dedicated to Education and Health, with an ENE of 28%, and the third place was the manufacturing industry with 21% of ENE.

Cuyo and Northwest Argentina (NOA) are the two regions with the highest Expectation of job creation, 31% and 24% respectively.

The region with the lowest expectations is the Northeast (NEA) with an ENE of 2%.

In total, the report surveyed the opinion of 700 employers in the country, of which 36% plan to increase personnel, 37% do not expect to make changes, 19% plan to reduce them and 8% do not know if they will make changes during the third quarter of the year.

In America, the employers of the ten surveyed countries expect increases in their hiring expectations for the third quarter of the year, they indicated.
