Due to poor air quality conditions in the RM, the Presidential Delegation of the Metropolitan Region decided to decree the state of Environmental Alert for this Tuesday, June 14, in the capital.
Yesterday, the Quilicura, El Bosque and La Florida stations maintained Alert levels, while the rest of the communes reached numbers classified as “Fair” and “Good”.
For this day, a weakened anticyclonic regime is expected on the surface and the entry of a trough in height, promoting the probability of advection towards the basin of the Metropolitan region. Meanwhile, temperatures are expected to be between 6° and 13°C.
As a result of this, the authorities made a call to respect the measures, especially the prohibition of the use of firewood and derivatives throughout the region, as well as the prohibition of agricultural burning until September 30 and vehicle restrictions.
