The potosino Sebastián Careaga, of the R5 class, was the overall winner of the Rally de la Concordia, fourth date of the National Rally Championship, which was held over the weekend in Cochabamba and is endorsed by the Bolivian Federation of Sports Cars (Febad).
The potosino made a time of one hour, 17 minutes and 17 seconds for the 105.5 timed kilometers of the competition, running at a average speed of 81.89 kilometers per hour. The total route of the test was 147.67 kilometers, since 42.17 were liaison.
In the Proto category, Rodrigo Careaga from Chuquisaca (1h19’17”) and Rodrigo García from Santa Cruz (1h22’25”) took first and second place respectively. At the same time Careaga was second in the general classification of the race and García was third.
In the RC2N class, first place went to Ali Eid Junior from La Paz (1h22’35”)Jorge Martínez from Santa Cruz (1h26’17”) was second, and Potosino Juan Tarqui finished third (1h32’26”).
The winner of the R2B was Miguel Peña from Chuquisaca (1h27’53”), followed by Jairo Chura from Cochabamba (1h28’05”) and Jhonny Tarqui from Potosí (1h32’33”), second and third, respectively.
Finally, in the R1B group, the best was Franz Torrico from Cochabamba (1h29’12”). He was accompanied on the podium by Israel Sandoval from Potosí (1h31’26”) and William Estrada from Oruro (1h31’35”).
The race had two stages, with eight special tests, which were played between Saturday and Sunday. The race passed through Cayacayani, Pampa Chirihua, Tarata Convent, Villa Recreo and Mamanaca.
