According to the Union of Drivers and Collectors, public transport companies will be able, until 11:59 pm today, to present a new proposal – which could prevent the strike, if it meets the workers’ demands.

“At first, the employers’ sector insisted on offering only 10% of readjustment and still in installments. Now, they offered the 12.47%, but only from October [de 2022]which is unacceptable”, highlighted the acting president of the union, Valmir Santana da Paz, known as Sorriso.
