The president of the Dominican Humanist Party (PHD), Ramón Emilio Goris, declared here that this organization is building a structure in the 31 provinces and the National District that will allow it to play a decisive role in the 2024 elections.
Goris explained that as part of this organizational work, they have managed to add hundreds of people to this entity throughout the national territory, “especially young people and women who want to contribute to their respective communities using the party platform of our organization.”
“We are visiting each province, municipality by municipality, until we have combed the entire country and proceed, as we have planned, to carry out massive swearing-in of our militants,” he said.
The president of the PHD and deputy to the Central American Parliament (PARLACEN) spoke on the subject during an extensive tour of the province of Samaná, where dozens of people announced their entry into that party.
During the tour, they visited the municipalities of Las Terrenas, Sánchez and Santa Bárbara, as well as the municipal districts of Las Galeras, El Limón and Arroyo Barril, where six committees were established.
“We are working on building a strong and decisive structure for the next elections,” he added.
Call to continue developing Samaná province
On the other hand, the president of the Dominican Humanist Party called on the Government to continue promoting the development of this province, especially in the area of tourism. “This is a coastal and tourist area, which both the government and the inhabitants of the different communities that make up this province must work together in order to continue promoting its development,” he said.
On his tour, Goris was accompanied by the Organization Secretary, engineer Julián Burgos; of the members of the National Executive Committee, Cristhian Tejada and Simón Pedro Hernández, and of Dr. Fabián Mercedes, who served as coordinator in the province of Samaná.
