Maduro meets this Monday with Iran's oil minister

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, holds a meeting on Monday with the Iranian Oil Minister, Javad Owji, as part of his visit to that country since Friday, which seeks to strengthen the areas of science and technology, agriculture , transport, energy, tourism and culture.

This was reported via Twitter by the Presidential Press account, which reports that it is the second time they have held a meeting, after the dialogue that took place in Caracas on May 2.

On that occasion, it was during a work visit by Javad Owji to Venezuela.

Likewise, in Caracas, in a bilateral meeting between Owji and the Oil Minister, Tareck El Aissami, they evaluated the agreements established between the two countries, especially those that point to the area of ​​hydrocarbons.

Owji and El Aissami reviewed the opportunities for cooperation in the oil, gas and petrochemical sector, as well as in the multilateral sphere with the solid alliances that Caracas and Tehran maintain within OPEC and the OPEC+ Declaration of Cooperation.

Earlier, this Monday, through his Twitter account, the Head of State said he was optimistic about the benefits that the work agenda that he is currently carrying out on his international tour will generate for the Venezuelan people.

Visit to the MAPNA Group Industrial Complex

On Sunday, the president visited the MAPNA Group Industrial Complexwhich brings together 70 Iranian companies.

After giving a tour of the facilities, Maduro said he was impressed with the scientific and technological advances in the areas of Iranian electricity, oil and transportation.

On Saturday, President Maduro met with the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who assured that in the face of pressure and the hybrid war from the United States, “the successful experience of the two countries showed that the only way to deal with with these pressures is resistance and perseverance”, according to the site english.khamenei.ir citing statements by the Leader of Iran at various events.
