The option is that they be contracted to finish the Mayan Train or for the construction of industrial parks, said the president when he went to supervise the work of the modernization of the Port of Coatzacoalcos, in Veracruz.
“Where are all those who are working in Dos Bocas given work? That it is our responsibility as a government, that no one lacks work.
“So we have the Mayan Train, which is going to demand a lot of work, especially this year and the next, but we also want to immediately start construction in the 10 industrial parks of the Isthmus so that there is work,” he explained.
Obrador pointed out that investments have been made to increase production in the country’s six refineries, which currently produce 840,000 barrels per day, but the goal is to reach 1.2 million barrels per day.
