Once there is no “huachicoleo” of water in canals and dams that supply the Cutzamala system, the works will allow the recovery of up to 3,000 liters of water per second for the Valley of Mexico from the El Bosque dam.
The governor of Michoacán, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, elaborated in a press conference that “it does not mean that there will be more water, no; It is the same water that we have available, it will be regularized and with that we will avoid wasting water in agricultural areas, the ‘huachicol’ of water, and we will have more water for the fields, for the towns of Michoacán, for human consumption, for agriculture, but there will also be more water available for Mexico City, which is vital for us and for you”.
The head of government announced that on June 22, she, the governor of the State of Mexico, Alfredo del Mazo, and the Michoacan president will go to the agricultural communities to talk about the plan and formally form the agreement.
Colima adopts CDMX government model
The head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, and the Morenista governor of Colima, Indira Vizcaíno, signed a collaboration agreement to share experiences in digital government, the fight against corruption, security, the environment, and social programs.
With this, they will seek to bring to Colima, the Ponte Pila program of the Capital Sports Institute, as well as four axes in terms of security; Attention to Causes, More and Better Police, Intelligence and Investigation and Coordination between institutions.
The Digital Agency for Public Innovation will also share its experience to develop a digital government program, among other topics.
“It is a collaborative relationship, we are very happy; In addition, we are part of the same Transformation project and we are really very happy to have Indira Vizcaíno here today and sign this collaboration agreement”, she explained.
This is not the first agreement that the head of government signs with other entities, she also did it with the governor of Veracruz, Cuitláhuac García; from Campeche, Layda Sansores and from Michoacán, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla; all emanated from Morena.
