The current Olympic champion Yulimar Rojas achieved this Saturday, June 11, the best world record of the year with a jump of 14.83 meters in La Nucía, Alicante (Spain); with which she also did the championship record and confirms its status as the top favorite to win gold in the triple jump event at the next World Championships in Eugene (United States).

Rojas’ first jump was null, in the second he reached 14.55 meters. The third was also null and on the fourth attempt she achieved 14.83 meters. There was a fifth null jump and the sixth was 14.42 meters.
