Captured subject accused of murdering his five-year-old son

A 41-year-old man beat his five-year-old son to death, according to a version published on the Cicpc Instagram account. The alleged infanticide is Darwin Alfredo Machado Díaz (41), who is already under arrest.

This subject was in charge of the child Osleyner Ismael Díaz Mejías (5) because his mother was hospitalized receiving medical treatment. Father and son stayed at his residence located on El Prado street, Altos de Parque Caiza, Sucre municipality (Miranda). But last Wednesday Machado asked the boy’s relatives for help, because he had allegedly fallen while he was riding a bicycle.

The child’s relatives reported the incident to the police authorities who went to the site and found that the child was already dead.

Rachel Diaz, Osleyner’s aunt, told reporters that when the boy’s father went to ask them for help, he repeated that he was innocent. The subject was arrested by officers assigned to the Cicpc Homicide Investigations Division.

According to the initial investigations, it was found that the boy was constantly receiving physical abuse, because he allegedly “did not control his sphincters,” says the scientific police report. Likewise, the Cicpc refers that the boy’s father left him alone for a long time.

The little boy’s aunt said that she talked to him almost every night and told him that she wanted to see his mother and grandmother.
