The following will also be cancelled: the Association of Beauty Cultists of Nicaragua, the Biocentric and Biodanza Foundation of Nicaragua, the Association of Friends of Life of Lake Apanás and Bosawas, the Association for the Development of Niquinohomo, the Union of Artists of Chontales, the Andrés Vega Bolaños Foundation. , Nicaraguan Association for Community Development (ANDEC) and Association of Students of Economic and Administrative Sciences (Aecea).

Likewise, the Polimates Multidisciplinary Intercultural Association, the Association of Men Against Violence, the Nicaraguan Association of Phytopathology, the Center for Addiction Specialties Association, the Changing Lives Foundation, the Nicaraguan Association of Notaries, the Compassion in Action Foundation, the Peasant Rights Center Association, the Visionmil Balladares-Chow and Foundation for Chain Economic Development.

The regime accuses the organizations of not registering as foreign agents with the Ministry of the Interior (Migob) and failing to comply with the General Law of Regulation and Control of Non-Profit Organizationswhich entered into force on May 6, “hindered the control and surveillance” carried out by the Migob.

According to deputy Filiberto Rodríguez, promoter of the massive cancellations of NGOs, it is an “ordinance” aimed at combating money laundering and punishing the organizations that were involved in the 2018 protests, which the regime defines as an attempt to coup.

Other organizations that will be canceled will be the Nicas Unidos por Nicaragua Foundation, the Association for the Development of Ex-combatants of the Atlantic Coast of the North Atlantic Autonomous Region, the Association of Agricultural Producers and Producers for Peasant Development, the International Foundation for the Integral Development of Los Pueblos, Association for the Social Development of Peasants of San Lucas and Nicaraguan Resistance Youth Association (Ajurnica).

In addition, the following will be outlawed: Our Nicaragua Foundation, the Association for the Protection of Abandoned Children, the Pro-Justice Group Association, the Biological Promedical Foundation, the Agateite Indigenous Foundation, the Christian Friends of Latin America Foundation Helping Abandoned Prisoners in Nicaragua, the Chinandega Environmental Communicators Network Association, Foundation for Alternative Development and New Acropolis Cultural Association.

A similar fate will face the Integral, Economic and Social Foundation; Foundation for the Promotion of Integral Development, International Foundation for Sustainable Economic Development, Nicaraguan Foundation for Rural Development, Association for the Development of Indigenous Women of the Coco Abajo River, Foundation for Cultural Development (Nicaragua Mía), Evangelical Foundation of Escobar, Faith and Jinotega Fight and Nicaraguan Association for a Happy Childhood.

72 hours to deliver records

When the legal status is cancelled, the legal representatives of the NGOs have 72 hours to deliver to the Migob the documents referring to the liquidation of goods and assets, as well as accounting books (Journal and Ledger), minute book and member registration book, that were authorized by this authority for their protection.

Other canceled associations will be: Institute of Technological and Management Studies Association, Municipal Development Foundation, National Values ​​Program Association, Rene Cisneros Neighborhood Productive Urban Community Association, Coordinating Association of Chorotega Indigenous Peoples of the Departments of Madriz and Nueva Segovia, Foundation for Progress of Yalí, Contrapunto Foundation, Pro Health Foundation and Nicaraguan Association for Sustainable Development.

In addition, the Zapatera Foundation, the Association of Agricultural Producers of Estelí, the William Díaz Romero Community Movement Association and Martha Angélica Quezada; Association for the Development and Management of Watersheds, Association of Masaya National Lottery Concessionaires, Association for Welfare and the Future, Nicaraguan Association for Health, the Environment and Community Development, El Rocío Occidental Foundation and Fundación Juventud Activa Segura and Sana.
