Irina Karamanos tests positive for Covid-19 and will begin isolation

The First Lady, Irina Karamanos, confirmed through her social networks that she tested positive for Covid-19.

“Today I tested positive for Covid-19, after doing a preventive PCR test,” Karamanos said via Twitter.

“I’m fine, taking all the necessary safeguards and following the instructions of the health authority, with isolation for 7 days at home,” he added in the publication.

Given this, the First Lady called on the public to continue with the precautionary measures against the spread of the coronavirus. “Let’s keep taking care of ourselves,” she emphasized.

It should be noted that in a new balance from the Ministry of Health, 10,667 new cases were reported, 22 deaths and a national positivity of 13.85% in the last 24 hours in the country.
