They will require registration to import vapers and electronic cigarettes

Hoy Paraguay

The Ministry of Health communicates that from August the requirement to register with Dinavisa will be in force in order to import electronic cigarettes and vapers.

The National Directorate of Sanitary Surveillance (Dinavisa) requires through a resolution that companies interested in importing cigarettes and vapers register with this agency and meet a series of requirements.

The necessary forms for the procedures are available on the website of the Ministry of Public Health, from where they can be downloaded.

Once the documents are completed, the interested parties must submit them to Dinavisa, with the signature of the manager and the legal representative of the company.

For its part, Dinavisa will issue a decision in this regard within a period not exceeding 90 calendar days, from the date of receipt of the papers.

If all the requirements are met and the answer is affirmative, a certificate of authorization will be issued for five years. The requirement for this registration is effective from August.
