ANDl Airport Department (DA), launched this Friday the institutional policy of the Integrated Management System, designed for the permanent improvement of the internal operations that are executed, based on the ISO 9001 standards on Quality Management and ISO 37001 on Anti-Bribery Management.
The event, held at the headquarters of intuition, was headed by the executive director of the DA, Víctor Pichardo, deputy directors and heads of departments, as well as the intervention of the experienced specialist in the area Alexis Parra, executive director of HPG Servicios Empresariales.
In his main speech, Pichardo explained that the execution of this quality initiative, which provides guidance for decision-making and simplification of internal processes, seeks to increase institutional awareness and strengthen the vision of being leaders and benchmarks in the airport sector.
“The implementation of policies and procedures are an essential part of organizations and boards; they provide a roadmap and are the backbone for the execution of operations. These policies ensure compliance with regulatory laws and regulations,” he stated.
In that regard, he praised the way in which the GIVES has handled the processes, according to the documents analyzed, and announced that in about three months the institution would be receiving both certifications formally.
“We are aware that the implementation of the institutional policy will generate greater commitment, loyalty and dedication in the servers and officials of the Airport Department,” Pichardo pointed out, after thanking the efforts of each of the servers that were certified.
While, in the presentation of the policies of the Integrated Management System, Parra highlighted the value it has for the GIVES the implementation of these systems, after noting that these certifications they represent a commitment of the highest authority and its collaborators, to act in accordance with the best practices established at a global level. “It is to turn that institution into a world-class one,” he emphasized.
Prior to the conclusion of the event, more than 40 collaborators were officially presented with certificates of participation in the Course-Workshop: ISO9001:2015 Internal Auditor of the Quality Management System and Internal Auditor ISO 37001:2016 in Anti-Bribery Management System,
