Carolina Jiménez is the owner of a company in the beauty sector, in Fantino, and a constantly changing worker
From an early age, Carolina Jiménez was drawn to the area of female beauty and the transformation achieved with each makeup and hairstyle. She began by practicing with her mother’s cosmetics and trying it out with friends. She was worth a lot to him.
I tried to highlight the attractions of those friends and I didn’t always get it. But Carolina is persistent when she chooses a north, and she was not daunted. She is currently the owner of Carolina Jiménez Makeup Studio, a successful business started in 2017.
It is located at Calle Hermanas Mirabal #14, Minimal Plaza, 1st module, in Fantino, Sánchez Ramírez Province, with the possibility of expanding and encompassing a much larger conglomerate.
“We are studying the launch of the first franchise, in which we are going to expand our guarantee seal,” the businesswoman tells the elCaribe newspaper. She has set aside a space for her from her busy work schedule to talk about a topic that she is undoubtedly passionate about.
“We have an investment plan in process for our area, near the city where it is envisaged that it will be a space of influence,” he explains, with the certainty that “things” will turn out just as he is imagining them from now on.
Start-ups like Carolina’s usually follow a path of ascent, if you take into account that they go from less to more. And it is precisely this behavior of the business that generates confidence to continue planting capital in it. To keep investing.
“Entrepreneurship is starting from scratch with a small idea, every day looking for formulas to offer more quality. Being my own model, with trial and error, I succeeded in each type of makeup, according to each occasion”, she assures.
The “target” of Carolina Jiménez Makeup Studio is every woman who wants to highlight her beauty. “We have a variety of services, as required by the client and prices vary based on what the market dictates, but I have plans for different segments of the population,” she explains, responding to questions from this newspaper.
The small company has five direct jobs and it is likely that others will be generated indirectly. As it continues to grow, the workforce could continue to multiply.
Carolina is a woman of “passed test”, but achieving it was not an easy task. “When I started my business, I did it in my living room, with a limited service to my family and closest friends; then the business has expanded to the city and surrounding areas”, recalls the hard-working lady.
You can see the satisfaction for what has been achieved so far, in every word spoken. “In the beginning, I only limited myself to basic makeup services, then I expanded services for weddings, birthdays, graduations, carnival events, and micro-pigmentation of eyebrows and lips; hair-to-hair eyelash postures and in small groups, among other services”, he recalls.

Carolina has already expanded the sale of 100% original, medium and high-end makeup to an audience that is increasingly demanding. He currently works in a rented space, specially designed with all the modern conveniences. To what do you attribute that there are so many skin problems?, she asks her.
“Well, I think that one of the main causes is due to ignorance and misinformation of the population; by eating foods that might not be beneficial and by using products that are not ideal for the person’s condition,” she replies. And he adds: “Everything we consume, our skin expresses outwardly. These are things that go hand in hand, a healthy diet and consuming antioxidants are important”.
