RN parliamentarians who were supporters of the Approval launch "Ruta 5", an initiative that goes for the Rejection in the face of the plebiscite

Parliamentarians from the National Renewal (RN) who were in favor of Approval in the entry plebiscite, launched the “Route 5” initiative, a campaign that will join the Rejection in the face of the September 4 election. Of course, they clarified that they advocate that the constitutional process continue, in case the citizens reject the draft of the new Magna Carta.

Senators RN Manuel Jose Ossandon, Maria Jose Gatica Y Paulina Nunezand the party deputies Ximena Ossandon Y Andrew Longtonin addition to the former parliamentarian Mario Overflowsare part of the initiative.

“We are a group of people who play for the Approval, that we have a commitment with Chile that there is a new Constitution, that of hope, that takes the good things of all the constitutions of our republican history, generating a campaign of hope, a positive campaign,” said Senator Ossandón, slogan emmol.

“As senators we were among the organizers of the Peace Agreement, but we believe that the draft has serious problems in some aspects, as it has positive things (…) but on the other hand there are tremendous differences,” he added.

Meanwhile, Senator Núñez indicated that “what is voted on this September 4 is the proposal of the constituents, it is not decided whether or not we will have a new Constitution. We believe that the proposal of the constituents is not good for Chile and that is why We are not going to approve it. We are going to work so that the constitutional process continues, as we have been doing for years.”
