The second corporal of Carabineros David Florido Cisterna He died this Friday after being shot in the middle of an operation carried out in the Pedro Aguirre Cerda commune. The cash was transferred to the Barros Luco Hospital in San Miguel. In official he died on the premises.
The incident happened at the intersection of Avenida La Marina with Clotario Blest. Carabineros personnel arrived at a barbershop, after a call to 133. Specifically, they were alerted that subjects were carrying firearms.
“According to information provided by witnesses, the shot would have been fired by a thin subject, white sweater, white pants, green sneakers, who later fled the scene aboard the car,” they indicated from Carabineros.
The Carabineros Criminalistics Laboratory arrived at the scene to collect evidence. At the moment no arrests.

“On behalf of the Chilean government, I want to express our deep regret for the murder at close range of police officer David Cisterna,” said the Secretary of State.
“I reiterate, our country cannot tolerate violence or crime. We must confront and redouble our efforts to find those responsible for this treacherous act that threatens a public servant,” added the Minister of the Interior.
