National Police arrest women for several robberies

The National Police reported that they arrested two women accused of assaulting a man who was on his way to board the Santo Domingo Metro, at the Los Taínos station, located on Máximo Gómez Avenue, on the corner of Nicolás de Ovando.

They are Mayelin Doñé Frías and Mayelin Nolasco, who allegedly used a bottle helmet to attack and take 5,500 pesos from the unidentified man, causing cuts and bruises during the struggle with the women.

Also arrested and brought to justice was Daniela Regalado Peña, who was denounced by her employer for having stolen money from the cash register on multiple occasions, a fact recorded on video surveillance cameras.

Another detainee was Tomás Lara Adames (a) Jordany, who was wanted for having at least eight complaints against him for theft of cell phones and vehicles parked in the Luperón and Villa Consuelo expansion.
