The Minister of Communication and Information of the Nicolás Maduro regime, Freddy Ñáñez, issued this Friday the usual daily report on the cases of covid-19 in the country during the last 24 hours.
In the balance, the Chavista official pointed out that for this June 10, 2022, 67 new cases of coronavirus were detected to raise the number of infections to 524,152 since the start of the pandemic last March 2020.
In the count, the government representative pointed out that 66 of the total reported cases correspond to community infections, with Zulia being the most affected state (23).

He indicated that a single case “from Panama” was detected at the Comprehensive Social Care Post of the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, Vargas state.
In the same way, he lamented the death of a person due to the disease, with which 5,723 have been counted since the start of the pandemic in the country, while detailing that the deaths are “a minor from the state Aragua”.
Ñáñez said that, of the 524,152 confirmed cases, 517,339 people have recovered, which represents 99% of the infections. “We have 1,090 active cases, 197 are being treated in the public health system, 43 in private clinics and 850 in supervised community care.”
“To date we have 674 patients who are asymptomatic, 339 with mild Acute Respiratory Failure, 58 with Moderate Acute Respiratory Failure and 19 in the Intensive Care Unit,” he said in another message.
