Venezuelans who murdered two young people in Peru are sentenced to 35 years

The Peruvian Judiciary issued 35 years in prison for the Venezuelans Angelbert Alejandro Díaz Colina and Abraham Alberto Perozo Borjas, who killed and dismembered the young Jafet Caleb Torrico Jara and Rubén Matamoros Delgado in a hostel in San Martín de Porres in September 2019.

Through Twitter, the Fiscal District of Lima Norte details that the conviction is announced in an advance of the sentence that will later be reported in its entirety.

The crimes they are charged with are qualified homicide, to the detriment of Rubén Mauricio Matamoros Delgado and Jafet Torrico Jara.

Likewise, they are accused of the crimes of criminal gang and conspiracy for illicit drug trafficking, to the detriment of the State.

The provincial prosecutor Luis Felipe Chauca Palma, from the Second Office of the Fourth Provincial Criminal Criminal Prosecutor’s Office of Condevilla, specifies that the accusation also reaches Jonathan Jesús Donayre Semprum, who has the status of a contumacious prisoner and an international arrest warrant, and Freddy Xavier Romero Sulbarán , alias ‘Machelo’, who will arrive in Peru in the next few days after being extradited from Colombia, details a report by the Peruvian media Trade.

The case

The Prosecutor’s Office indicates that on September 8, 2019, inside room No. 507 of the Señor de Sipán lodging, located in San Martín de Porres, the bodies of Jafet Caleb Torrico Jara and Rubén Matamoros Delgado were murdered and dismembered. Subsequently, the defendants hid the remains of the victims in different parts of Lima.

Abraham Alberto Perozo Borja, alias ‘Joker’, and Angelbert Alejandro Díaz Colina, alias ‘Tarra’, were in charge of murdering and dismembering the young people.

Currently, Perozo Borja and Díaz Colina are being held in the Ancón prison, where they are serving a preventive detention order during the investigation for the crimes of aggravated homicide and criminal gang.

The bodies of Rubén Mauricio Matamoros Delgado and Jafet Torrico Jara were found lifeless in the former Fiori terminal in San Martín de Porres and at the intersection of the Castañeta and Cajamarca jirones, in the Rímac district, on May 10, 2019.

Two weeks ago they found the lifeless body of a Venezuelan migrant identified as Yuliannys Rada Carmona inside a room he rented in the Cercado de Lima district of Peru.

While last month they found the bodies of the Venezuelans Kelvin Infante Ramírez and Franklin Ernesto Lugo Yáñez inside two suitcases buried in an uninhabited area near the Santa Rosa border control in Tacna, Peru, on the border with Chile.
