LOS ANGELES, United States.- The Cuban opposition has just won a resounding victory against the maneuvers generated from the Plaza de la Revolución, capturing in an official document from the summit in Los Angeles, California, the dictatorial nature of the communist regimes of Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua.

“The members of civil society participating in the IX Summit of the Americas condemn the dictatorships of Nicaragua, Cuba and Venezuela, and urge the States to condemn the dictatorships and take the following actions to promote the right to democracy of the peoples of America:
- Eliminate all forms of political violence and the immediate release of all persons deprived of liberty for political reasons in all countries.”
The event seems anecdotal, but it leaves us with a lesson on how these political systems operate and, above all, how they should be faced.
Inexplicably, from the Plaza de la Revolución, the dark tentacles of Castroism tend to act with impunity within government agencies in Washington, since they managed to appoint a representative of theirs, of Panamanian origin, named Adela Panezo Asprilla, as “spokesperson for civil society and the social actors”, in the Democratic Governance Forum, an official space to generate a document that reflects popular desires, addressed directly to the heads of state.

Quite simply, the defenders of the failed Castroism have run out of arguments, their dirty work remains: infiltrating agents, paying provocateurs and forgetting obvious truths, closing their eyes to the facts.
For example, Mr. Ebrard resorted to rhetoric about the embargo, the attempt to “suffocate” the Cuban people, when he knows as well as any other high-ranking official that, without going any further, this year from Havana they have bought tens of millions of dollars worth of food directly from American ports.
