Peeeero… the California Attorney’s Office agreed with his defense. The monstrous religious leader pleaded guilty to three of those 19 sexual crimes against girls and boys and received a sentence of 16 years and 8 months in prison. He was cheap.
The judge in the case did not look favorably on this agreement and told Naasón what the victims think of it. But the Church of the Light of the World continues to support him.
In a statement, he maintained that Naasón was subjected to a process in which evidence was suppressed, hidden, fabricated and altered. He claims that the conviction on charges of sexual abuse of minors was accepted to “protect the Church and his family.”
And he concluded by saying that, from wherever he is, even hell itself, for this millionaire religious sect… Naasón Joaquín García, the sexual predator, will continue to be the Apostle of God on Earth.
