The Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS) declared today the intervention of the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Parroquia San Lorenzo Trujillo LTDA. 104 (Coopac San Lorenzo) for being involved in the cause of total loss of the capital stock and the cooperative reserve.
“The intervention of Coopac San Lorenzo implies -among other consequences- the suspension of operations of the referred Coopac”, the institution detailed in a statement.
On the other hand, the SBS considered the following prohibitions against Coopac:
SIGHT: MTPE: Falling asleep during working hours does not necessarily imply the dismissal of a worker
- Initiate judicial or administrative proceedings against the intervened cooperative for the collection of debts at its expense
- Pursue the execution of judicial decisions issued against the intervened cooperative
- Establish liens on any of the assets of the intervened cooperative, as a guarantee of the obligations that concern it
- Make payments, advances or compensation, or assume obligations on behalf of the intervened cooperative, with the funds or assets that belong to and are in the power of third parties
- Establish precautionary measures against assets of the intervened cooperative
The SBS indicated that its representatives designated to carry out the intervention will convene a General Assembly where the partners will be informed about the declaration of intervention, its effects and the maximum legal term to lift said cause.
