The pre-candidate for the presidency, Kattya González, told 1080 AM that she has already closed agreements with Soledad Núñez and that she does not rule out giving up her candidacy in the face of agreement.
This would be in favor of finding an agreement within the alliance of opposition parties. “We have already spoken with Soledad and we are going to materialize some agreements also with an important group of citizen sectors that want to get involved,” said the pre-candidate.
Likewise, he pointed out that an agreement and a formula must be found. “If we reach an agreement, I have no problem giving up my candidacy, that’s what the Liberal Party had to do,” he said.
In addition, he criticized that the concertation has become an “extended internal” of the Authentic Radical Liberal Party (PLRA). “The inmates of the Liberal Party suffocate us a bit,” he said.
He pointed out that the agreement requires renunciations and dialogues to reach agreements favorable to governability. “If not, this is going to be simply an alternation and not an alternative and what the opposition needs is to offer the people an alternative,” he remarked.
