The report from the Department of Epidemiology of the Minsa specifies that in Panama they have been reported to date 885,046 accumulated cases of Covid-19, of which 2,793 are new positive cases today.
In the last 24 hours, three (3) deaths are reported and one (1) from previous dates is updated for a cumulative of 8,288 deaths and a lethality of 0.9%.
Those recovered from the disease amount to 848,712, of which 2,219 are newly recovered. 13,604 new tests were applied for a positivity of 20.5%.
The total number of active cases in the country is 28,046. Of them, 27,716 are in home isolation and 330 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 27,681 at home and 35 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 294 in the Ward and 36 in the ICU.
The districts with the highest number of cases reported today are: Juan Díaz with 106, San Francisco 98, Betania 98, David 76 and Bella Vista 74.
