The miners took part of the bridge, at km 709 of the Panamericana Sur, from the night of Tuesday, June 7. However, the Highway Police reported that at 11:00 pm yesterday the passage of private vehicles and buses had been allowed.
However, according to a report by Successful, the presence of Minister Dimitri Senmanche was required to talk with the miners about the confrontation over land that has so far left 14 dead in a sector known as Huanaquita.

The confrontation between the artisanal miners of Calpa Renace, Ático Calpa and the mining company Intigold Minig SA – over land disputes – has left 14 dead and an unknown number missing.
The attacks were caused by the dispute over land in a sector known as Huanaquita, in the district of Atico, Arequipa. After this altercation, the Police arrested more than 31 people who were taken to the Atico police station.
