Colombia offers reward to capture allegedly involved in murder of prosecutor Pecci

Vargas indicated that the Colombian authorities are searching for the Venezuelan citizen Gabriel Carlos Luis Salinas Mendoza, who is allegedly linked to the crime committed on Barú Island in the coastal city, asserting that the escapee “escaped” to our territory.

“We have moved a team to the border with Venezuela and we have asked the Interpol countries to start the search. The information that the Police have is that this person fled to Venezuela with some money that would be the product of the murder of prosecutor Pecci,” said the senior officer.

According to several media outlets, Salinas Mendoza would be the one who drove the jet ski in which they arrived at the beach of Barú Island to assassinate the Paraguayan prosecutor. Apparently, this suspect fled to Venezuela with money that would be the product of the hit man.
