Más de 1.400 deportistas en L'Etape Colombia By Le Tour

Bogotá and Cundinamarca hosted last weekend the fourth edition of L’Etape Colombia By Le Tour de France, which had more than 1,400 athletes, who were able to enjoy a demanding route (76 kilometers), which included steps through iconic cycling places such as Alto de Patios, La Calera, Alto de las Arepas, the beautiful Lake Guatavita and a heart-stopping finale at Alto de la Cuchilla.

A cycling party that also featured special guests, including Didi, the devil symbol of the Tour de France, and professional cyclists such as Nicolás Gómez (Colpack Ballan), Camila Valbuena (Colombia Land of Athletes), Daniela Atehortúa (Colnago CM Team), Jesús David Peña, new hire of the BikeExchange, Óscar Sevilla (Team Medellín), among others.

There were also legends, such as Lucho Herrera, winner of La Vuelta and Top-5 of the Tour: “It has been a good event, where there has been a great participation, I think the new recreational cycling is being formed. A great event has been held at L’Etape Colombia By Le Tour de France this year and I hope they continue to do so and that year after year they continue to have many successes. It is very good to share with the recreational cyclists in the event, for me it is a great joy to be with all of them “.
