The deputies that make up the Venezuelan parliament issued this Tuesday a draft agreement rejecting the unilateral exclusion of Venezuela by the United States government from the ninth Summit of the Americas.
Said agreement establishes that this action from the United States represents a delay in the union of the countries.
In addition, rejecting the discriminatory and abusive action of the United States government, saluting the decision of the presidents who will not attend the event, denouncing to the whole world that Venezuelans are victims of the blockade of the economy and finally calling for unity between the nations of the world.
Deputy Roy Daza made reference to the political and global implication that this action has against Venezuela.
«The circumstance that the Summit is in the United States creates a very serious political situation because they are the host country of an international Summit with a legal basis. In other words, it is the action of the United States government that we reject because we consider it an unfair and wrong decision,” said the deputy.
He added that the Pentagon is not seeing in depth what is happening in the world. “The impact of the pandemic and the war is affecting the world, and they are not reading the political response of the social movements in the world,” he said.
Finally, he pointed to Joe Biden, president of the United States, as the person responsible for this action. “Mr. Biden, we are not going to receive instructions from you. We are going to develop all the policies that are open to dialogue », he said.
