Inumet ceased the yellow alert due to strong winds in the southern and eastern areas of the country

The Uruguayan Institute of Meteorology (Inumet) ceased this Tuesday the yellow alert for strong winds and persistent on Monday morning mainly for the southern and eastern parts of the country.

The institute reports that it continues to monitor the situation and will issue new warnings if circumstances dictate.

The report highlighted a high probability (more than 75%) that the designated areas register southwest winds of between 40-60 km / h with gusts of 75 km / h.

cannelloni: the whole department.

Cerro Largo: Getulio Vargas, Lake Merín, Plácido Rosas, Poblado Uruguay and Río Branco.

Florida: August 25, May 25, Alejandro Gallinal, Cardal, Casupá, Chamizo, Florida, Fray Marcos, Independencia, La Cruz, Mendoza, Mendoza Chico, Nico Pérez, Reboledo and San Gabriel.

Lavalleja: the whole department.

Maldonado: the whole department.

Montevideo: the whole department.

Rocha: the whole department.

Saint Joseph: Capurro, Ciudad del Plata, Ecilda Paullier, Juan Soler, Kiyú-Ordeig, Libertad, Puntas de Valdez, Rafael Perazza, Rodríguez, San José de Mayo and Villa María.

Thirty-three: Arrocera Zapata, Arrozal Treinta y Tres, Ejido de Treinta y Tres, General Enrique Martínez, Isla Patrulla, Maria Albina, Mendizábal, Rincón, Treinta y Tres, Valentines, Vergara and Villa Sara.
