In three police procedures, six false dentists were captured in the Portuguesa state -four in Guanare and two in Acarigua- who will be prosecuted for alleged continued fraud, intrusion and conspiracy.
The first two operations were carried out in Guanare, the state capital, and were carried out by the Corps of Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations (Cicpc).
The first action was in the center of the city, on Carrera 6 between Calles 18 and 19, where two people posing as dental professionals used a commercial premises as an office and, without complying with the corresponding sanitary measures, offered different dental services and even performed orthodontic treatments.
Noel Coromoto Román Román (30), residing in Guanare, and Lusbely Katherine Choufi Parada (32), residing in Quíbor, Lara state, were detained at the site. The official minute informs that this couple illegally practiced dentistry and worked together with another individual, who is currently a fugitive.
Inside the offices, materials and supplies for dental use were seized, including orthodontic arches, mouth supports, bracket packages, oral exploration probe, dental bands, light-curing lamp, injectable resin for brackets, liquid dental adhesive and a syringe containing 37% phosphonic acid.

The second procedure was carried out in the La Peñita neighborhood, also in the central part of Guanare, where the police sleuths detected the operation of another clandestine dental office, this time inside a family home.
The Greicarys sisters Brigitte Portillo Ynfante (29) and Reina Maribel Portillo Ynfante (24) were arrested at the scene. The women are accused of allegedly practicing dentistry illegally, in addition to posing as orthodontic specialists.
Inside the office they seized packages of orthodontic arches, a circular dental cheek retractor, resins for injectable brackets, 97 dental bands, nail clippers, tweezers, a dental mold, dental spatulas, a curing light, dental liquid, 20 packages of brackets, syringes with 37% phosphonic acid, trays for surgical use, mouthwash and dental needles, among other materials and supplies.
Both cases were submitted to the order of the Third Prosecutor of the Public Ministry, in Guanare.
Other office in Acarigua
In Acarigua, the discovery of a clandestine office that worked in a house in the La Goajira urbanization and where two citizens, identified as Gonzalo Alexánder Milano (54) and Dennis Alexander Milano Marchán (21 years old), illegally practiced dentistry.
The procedure was carried out this weekend and was carried out by the Criminal Investigation Service of the Bolivarian Police of the Portuguesa state.
The police agency indicated that the officials arrived at the site in response to information from social intelligence work, which allowed the operation to be activated and the fake dentistry professionals to be identified and captured.
Both detainees allegedly engaged in the extraction of teeth, the adaptation of brackets and other orthodontic tasks and even performed root canal treatments (endodontics).
Inside the house they found and seized a package of gloves, two tweezers, injectors, a curing light, among other supplies and materials for dental practice.
The detainees were placed at the order of the Public Ministry in Acarigua.
