This board will have a non-renewable duration of one year and will be competent to: i) propose the date of internal elections of the Bolivarian Peasant Federation of Venezuela and make the request before the CNE; ii) approve the electoral regulations; iii) elect the electoral commission that will be in charge of conducting the elections; iv) form commissions for the union and economic relaunch of the Federation; v) call for the celebration of a National Peasant Assembly; vi) initiate the procedure for the suspension or dismissal of any of the members of the Bolivarian Peasant Federation of Venezuela, who have contravened the statutes; vii) exercise the guard and custody of the assets that make up the patrimony of the Federation and of the rights and shares that it possesses in other companies. , held in Araure (Portuguesa), on February 24, 2016 by which a board of directors had been appointed.
