The head of the Tacuarembó 2nd Shift Legal Prosecutor’s Office Mabel Brites reported this Sunday on the discovery of a dismembered human body in a property in the Los Molles neighborhood of the city of the department. The “presumably female and incomplete” body has not yet been identified.
They found the remains in a ravine within a rural property on Fernando Secco Aparicio Avenue. The owner of the property, when conducting a tour of the place, found the human remains and notified the Police.
The prosecutor told the media outlet Tacuarembó Now that they are working on carrying out “scientific and forensic analyses” to establish the identity of the person found officially and that the results of the analyzes may take between 24 and 48 hours to obtain. In this context, they pointed out that, although the possibility that the body is that of a woman who disappeared a few days ago in that city was revealed, it has not yet been determined that this is the case.
The rumor began after a well-known communicator from Tacuarembo, with the initials WRL, disclosed on his Facebook account the identity of the person, to whom the human remains supposedly belonged.
The authorities of the Prosecutor’s Office analyze the judicial consequences that this man is facing, as well as other spaces that echoed what was published by the criminal, because what is indicated can hinder the work of the police investigation and the Prosecutor’s Office. As well as this act caused irreparable moral damage to relatives of a person who is absent from his home.
