This Monday (6), whoever is present at the No Censorship is the actor, singer and artist Taumaturgo Ferreira. In a conversation with journalist Marina Machado, he recalls his artistic trajectory from the stage to TV and Cinema. Antônio Taumaturgo Soares Ferreira was born in São Paulo, in 1956. He began his acting career at the age of 23. On TV, he acted in soap operas, miniseries and specials for stations such as Rede Bandeirantes, TV Cultura, TV Globo, TV Record, HBO and the service of streaming Globoplay. He played outstanding characters such as Vulture in Golden years; laio in mandala; Lucas in Top Model; Mayan Tuca in Araponga; Zé Venancio in reborn; the naive Januário de The Carnation and the Rose; and Nelito in Celebrity.
His most recent works were miracle of Jesusfrom TV Record, in 2015 and, between 2016 and 2018, participated in Magnificent 70from HBO and iron island, on Globoplay. His last film, released in 2021, was Future Gallery. Altogether, he has 24 soap operas, nine series and six films in his curriculum. Since 1997, he has also performed as a visual artist, with canvases shown in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Porto Alegre.
