The Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre, said that businessmen must guarantee capacity in their premises by verifying vaccination cards or QR codes.

“The businessman who does not want to request the QR or the vaccination card, must use the 50% capacity and guarantee the proper separation of the tables or people inside the premises, but they must choose one of the two,” Sucre stressed, who reiterated that this week he will hold a meeting with the owners of restaurants and similar businesses to address this issue.

When asked about the appearance of the new omicron variant, Sucre reported that the General Directorate of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) will issue a resolution which will be presented to President Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, which establishes the countries that already have community contagion and would enter into the very high risk rating.

“This resolution will be presented to the President of the Republic Laurentino Cortizo Cohen for the restriction of entry to the country, since our interest is to safeguard the lives of residents throughout the national territory, as has been done in the different ports of entry to the country. country ”, Sucre affirmed.
