Two subjects were captured for allegedly being the ones who burned the young Laura Daniela with acid, while she was walking, she suffered the aggression.

On May 16, Laura Daniela I., 20 years old, suffered injuries to her chest and face, burned with acid, while she was walking home in Armenia, Quindío.
She was taken to a medical center, and is recovering.

What is known so far is that Jorge Iván Guzmán P., alias ‘soldier’, was the one who threw the acid at the victim, ran away and got on the motorcycle on which his accomplice, Germán Darío Valbuena, was waiting for him.
It has transpired that the subjects would be two thieves who plagued this area of Armenia, but in the case of Laura Daniela, they burned her not for stealing her, but because someone would have paid them to do so.
Authorities in Armenia do not rule out that it is a sentimental issue, an attempted femicide.
