An American Airlines flight had to be diverted due to a situation involving one of the aircraft’s passengers.
The traveler allegedly intimidated the plane’s crew and other passengers who boarded Miami-bound Flight 11-24.
The man was apparently intoxicated and for this reason, the logistics personnel of the aircraft that took off from the city of Barranquilla had to intervene to avoid further inconvenience.

One of the crew of the aircraft approached his position and asked him to please get off the plane.
At first, the passenger refused to leave, alleging that he had paid for his ticket to travel to the United States.
Finally, the man gave up his idea of continuing in the chair and left in the company of the crew member.
The other passengers applauded when they noticed that the annoying passenger had left the plane.

It was learned that flight 11-24 had been delayed for at least two hours, during which time the passenger in question would have consumed liquor in one of the bars at the Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport.
