Domingo Pérez on Congress’s refusal to disqualify Pedro Chávarry: “It’s a shield”
The prosecutor José Domingo Pérez described the recent decision of the Parliament and highlighted that there is evidence so that Pedro Chávarry can be disqualified from public office.
“This is a shield and it is a term that was used at the inauguration of the judicial year 2019. That is, the protection of certain people who, again, we are observing; that is to say, an armor, ”said the prosecutor during an interview on Canal N last Wednesday, June 1.

The congressman from Democratic Peru, Guillermo Bermejo, was against the armoring of Parliament towards the former prosecutor Pedro Chavarry, after he was released from the 10-year disqualification from public office for his involvement with Los Necks Blancos. On the last Wednesday, June 1, the former Prosecutor of the Nation, Pedro Chavarry, was shielded once again by Congress by releasing him from disqualification from public office for 10 years.
