the minister of Foreign Trade and TourismRoberto Sánchez, announced that, starting today, Friday, June 3, artisans from all over Peru will be able to participate in the Somos Artesanía contest, which, in its first edition in 2022, will deliver S/ 5,000 to 500 beneficiaries.
To do this, they must know the rules of the contest, which are published on the Mincetur website. In it you will find the platform for electronic registration, fill out a series of forms and present a production and marketing plan.
“This year’s first edition of Somos Artesanía is called Accessing the market and has a budget of S/ 2.5 million. With the money delivered, they will be able to strengthen their businesses and improve production, especially in this stage of economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.”indicated the head of the Mincetur.
The “Somos Artesanía 2022-I” contest is aimed at artisans, as well as associations, cooperatives and companies of the artisan activity that have registration in the National Artisan Registry (RNA) and Unique Taxpayer Registry (RUC).
In addition, they must have the status and condition of active and existing taxpayer, and meet other requirements established in the contest rules.
It is worth mentioning that the money that will be granted must be used only for the acquisition of inputs, raw materials, payment of labor linked to the production of handicrafts, as well as for the acquisition of tools and equipment, replacement of fixed assets, among others. .
