The National Parliament will swear in the deputy appointed to the Judicial Nominations Committee

The National Assembly (AN) in its ordinary session this Tuesday, has scheduled the swearing-in of the deputy who will be appointed to the Judicial Nominations Committee 2022-2024. This was reported in the agenda published by the AN.

The 2022-2024 Judicial Nominations Committee is in charge of selecting the magistrates of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) and other senior officials of the Judicial Power, reports the web portal of the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN).

On the other hand, the session will give the appointment and swearing-in of Parliamentary Friendship Groups.

The countries with which friendship groups are established are: China, Russia, Iran, Turkey, North Korea, Qatar, Vietnam, Cuba, Nicaragua, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Belarus, India, Uruguay, Palestine, and Italy.

On the other hand, the AN will begin the first discussion of the draft Organic Law for the Reform of the Justice System Law. Likewise, it will do the same, but with the second discussion of the draft Law on the Guardianship of Children and Adolescents. The session is scheduled for the afternoon, in the Protocol Chamber of the Federal Legislative Palace, Caracas.
