Luis Lacalle Pou admitted this Tuesday that former President Tabaré Vázquez had not been mentioned as one of those responsible for the implementation of Plan Ceibal.
The 15th anniversary of the plan was celebrated in the Sodre Auditorium this Monday. But there was no mention of Vázquez.
This Tuesday, during a visit to Cologne, President Lacalle Pou referred to the issue. “The only thing that seems to me that was missing, or I would have done, was to recognize the promoter of Plan Ceibal, President Tabaré Vázquez, who later continued for years and who makes a continuity of national policies,” he said.
