Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) dismantled in Casigua El Cubo, Zulia state, six anti-tank mines placed on roads and sidewalks by Colombian Drug Trafficking Terrorist groups (Tancol), in order to attack the population of the area.
The information was released by the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), General in Chief Domingo Hernández Lárez, who through his Twitter account recalled that “Venezuela is a territory of peace, we will not tolerate any type of structure of military use, drug lab, explosives depot, boot camp, or dormitory on our sovereign land.”
Likewise, it indicated that in El Guayabo, also in the state of Zulia, the military located and destroyed another Tancol camp.
He stressed that Venezuela is going through a new era of progress, so terrorist actions by drug traffickers will not be allowed in the territory.
“This is a new era for Venezuela, marked by progress and the will of this great people, we are determined to remove all kinds of TANCOL pests from our soil, it is not our culture or custom. We will disable all their platforms », he remarked.
The actions being carried out by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces on the country’s borders seek to definitively expel the Tancol groups and thus their narco-terrorist practices.
The military work under the premise of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who urged to declare 2022 as the year 100% free of the Tancol in the national territory.
