The first batch of refund of the Individual Income Tax (IRPF 2022) will be paid today (31), at 10 am. According to the Federal Revenue, R$ 6.3 billion in bank credit will be allocated to 3,383,969 taxpayers in this first wave, aimed at those who have legal priority.
Priorities are the elderly over 80 years of age (226,934 contributors); taxpayers aged between 60 and 79 years (2,305,412); taxpayers with any physical or mental disability or serious illness (149,016); and taxpayers whose main source of income is teaching (702,607).
To find out if the refund is available, the taxpayer must access the Recipe pageclick on My Income Tax and then on Consult the Refund.
“The page presents guidelines and service delivery channels, allowing a simplified consultation or a complete consultation of the declaration status, through the processing extract, accessed in the e-CAC”, informs the Tax Authorities.
If there is any pending in the declaration, the taxpayer can rectify the declaration.
Consultations with the Revenue bases can also be made through the applications available for tablets and smartphones. In addition to information on the release of refunds, these applications provide direct access to other types of information about the registration status of CPFs.
Also according to the IRS, refunds will be paid directly to the bank account informed in the IRPF statement. If, for some reason, the credit is not carried out (for example, the informed account has been deactivated), the amounts will be available for redemption for up to one year at Banco do Brasil.
The rescheduling of the amounts to be credited can be done by the BB Portalor through the BB Relationship Center, on the telephones 4004-0001 (capital cities), 0800-729-0001 (other locations) and 0800-729-0088 (special telephone exclusively for the hearing impaired).
