SANTO DOMINGO.- Three men with short and long weapons assaulted three Banco Popular employees who were repairing an ATM belonging to that bank at the Sunix fuel station on Avenida 6 de Noviembre and loaded with almost RD$3.9 million in cash.
The three employees of the aforementioned bank, two guards and a technician, were repairing an ATM installed in the Sunix fuel station, in Quita Sueño de Haina, when three armed men appeared on board a gray Honda CRV SUV, and ordered them to get down on the floor
The assailants carried RD$3,973,800.00, as well as the cell phones of the three employees.

The three assailants arrived at the scene with coats, armed and in a jeep without a license plate.
The assault occurred at 8:40 in the morning on Sunday, according to a source.
It was reported that police began investigations into the case.
