As a result, the director of UTE representing the opposition, Fernanda Cardona, said that with the proposal the public company generates the infrastructure and “gives away its profit to a few.”

Cardona indicated that the decree for large consumers and generators “is created without major exchange with UTE technicians and much less discussion with the Board, despite the fact that UTE will be the one that supports the millionaire losses of the proposed modification.”
